In 2007, I founded my virtual edit studio, pioneering remote editing with flexible hours.
I edit powerful award-winning documentaries that premiere at top film festivals and can be seen in theaters or streamed. My editorial work has earned two Emmy nominations for “Best Documentary Editing” for Take Your Pills (Netflix) and Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (IFC Films). Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry won the Sundance Special Jury award for the Spirit of Defiance, the Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia Award for Broadcast Journalism award, and was also shortlisted for an Academy Award.
I continue to work in short-form editing, including branded content, movie promos, trailers, and ads. Before settling in NYC, I worked in London, Brisbane, and Atlanta. I’m a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild and an affiliate member of American Cinema Editors (ACE). I hold my Master’s Degree in Film Studies from Emory University. I directed The Invisible World, an award-winning short documentary featuring the artistry of Hudson Valley painter Mark Weiss.
